Description

A Brave Little Bird Dry Shampoo is an all natural powder alternative to aerosol types, which commonly contain alcohol, chemicals, and preservatives, like parabens.  This formula will naturally absorb oil and refresh hair between washes.  It contains Rhassoul Clay, which is chock full of naturally occurring minerals that nourish the hair and scalp, while also conditioning your hair.  BLB Dry Shampoo can also add volume and I regularly use it as a styling aid in my every day regimen.  This non-aerosol fine powder formula is easy to apply and smells great.  Cocoa & cinnamon are added to lightly color the product, making it easy to blend with all hair colors.  Your BLB dry shampoo will come in a BPA free plastic jar and contain 3oz of product.  I choose plastic for this product simply because it travels well in a purse or gym bag.  As an added bonus, you will find the powder product will last you 3 times as long as the aerosol, because your not wasting product, spraying it all over the place.

Key Ingredients:

Rhassoul Clay:  Rhassoul Clay is also known as Moroccan Clay.  It comes from deep within the Atlas Mountains in Eastern Morocco.  It has been used for centuries in skin & hair care.  It is full of naturally occurring minerals which nourish the hair and scalp.  It will absorb oil and reduce frizz, while conditioning & cleansing hair.

Organic Arrowroot Powder:  Arrowroot powder naturally absorbs moisture.

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil:  Ylang Ylang essential oil comes from the yellow flowers of the Cananga Tree.  It has been known to prevent hair loss, stimulate hair growth, treat scalp dryness, and strengthen hair.  It also smells wonderful and is one of my favorite essential oils!

Recommended Use:

Grab a make up brush, preferably a larger one for powder or blush.  Designate it for hair use only.  Don’t switch back and forth.  You don’t want to end up with the oil from your hair on your face.  Dip the brush into the dry shampoo.  I use the lid to remove some of the excess before applying.  Then apply to the roots of your hair in areas where you feel or appear oily.  Lift layers of your hair and continue to apply with the brush adding more product as needed. If you have dark hair, you may want to apply mostly to the underside of your roots.  Wait a few minutes and then use your fingers to work the product throughout your hair.  This will add volume and disperse the product evenly. You can also use at night before bed.  While you are sleeping and tossing & turning, this will distribute the dry shampoo throughout your hair.
