BLB Hair Serum

Description

BLB Hair Serum is a natural combination of nourishing oils that condition & hydrate your hair.  Use as a styling aid to eliminate frizz and add shine.  Can also be used as a deep conditioning treatment.  (see recommended use below.)  BLB Hair Serum comes in a 1.7oz glass pump.  A little goes a long way.  It will likely last you several months, as you only need 1-3 pumps, depending the on the length and thickness of your hair.  The serum is infused with Ylang Ylang, Roman Chamomile, and Orange essential oils, which creates a delightfully, sweet, fruity, & floral scent.

Compare to other popular hair oils for a fraction of the price!!! I am frequently irritated by the cost of beauty products.  I researched some of the most popular hair serums & oils before creating BLB Hair Serum.  Most start at about $30 and I found some upwards of $75.  I have been using hair serums for years and have tried many different brands.  The less expensive products likely contain silicone, which over time can coat hair and build up.  This can prevent nutrients from penetrating the hair shaft.  I wanted to create an all natural product that was also affordable.  I feel really good about BLB Hair Serum and I am confident that after prolonged use, it will make your hair look & feel great!

Key Ingredients

Meadowfoam Oil:  Extracted from the seeds of the Limnanthes Alba plant.  This plant blooms small white flowers giving an image of white foam covering the soil.  The oil is known for it’s long lasting hydration of both the hair & scalp.

Abyssinian Oil:  Sourced from the seeds of the Crambe Abyssinica.  Naturally high in Erucic Acid making it extremely moisturizing and conditioning.  Has been known to strengthen hair & prevent breakage.  Very effective shine enhancer that absorbs quickly.

Camellia Seed Oil:  This is the same oil found in Frankly Fabulous.  Not only it is wonderful for our skin, but it is also an excellent moisturizer for our hair.  High in Oleic acid and Vitamins A, B, & E, it nourishes hair and seals in moisture.  Has been known to treat scalp irritations and stimulate the growth of healthy hair.

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil:  Ylang Ylang has been known to prevent hair loss, stimulate hair growth, treat scalp dryness, and strengthen hair.

Recommended Use

Use as a styling aid on wet or dry hair.  Add 1-2 pumps to wet hair depending on length and thickness.  Pump into hands and rub together, then work evenly throughout hair.  Blow dry as usual.  The heat will help lift the hair cuticle allowing moisture and nutrients to soak in.  I usually follow up with 1 pump once my hair is dry to help smooth and add shine.  Again, rub the oil together in your hands first and apply sparingly.  Remember, a little goes a long way.  This product is 100% natural oil and if you over apply, you will end up looking like a bit of a greaseball!

You can also use BLB hair serum as a deep conditioning treatment. Use more of the oil with this application, because you will be shampooing it out once your treatment is complete.  Apply a generous amount of oil to your hair concentrating on your scalp and ends. Really give yourself a good head rub. Wrap your head in a hot towel and let it sit for about a half hour.  Then shampoo and condition as usual.

Hot Tip:  Anytime you stay at a hotel, bring home the free shower cap.  I have never actually used one at the hotel, but take that baby home! You can use it for a deep conditioning treatment!  Apply your favorite oil (BLB Hair Serum, of course!), put on the cap and heat it with your blow dryer, or go out in the sun on a hot summer day.  Lay out, do some gardening, read a book, play with the kids…your neighbors might think you’re a bit strange, but your hair will be fabulous!
